Thune Has Nearly $4 Million In Campaign Fund
February 3, 2009, 7:18 AM
Republican Senator John Thune's campaign reported raising $309,730 in the fourth quarter of 2008 and had nearly $4 million on hand at the end of the year.
Thune has hired a campaign manager and is expected to seek re-election to a second term next year, but he has not made a formal announcement.
Thune says his campaign will continue raising money to prepare for what he calls a competitive election in 2010.
