February 21, 2008, 8:49 AM
Radio stations in three South Dakota cities are changing hands but will stay focused on local programming.
NRG Media of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Sorenson Broadcasting are selling the properties to Riverfront Broadcasting of Yankton, which owned by Carolyn and Doyle Becker.
Included in the deal are KORN-AM and KQRN-FM in Mitchell, KYNT-AM and KKYA-FM in Yankton, and KCCR-AM and KLXS-FM in Pierre.
Riverfront already owns and operates KNCY-AM and FM in Nebraska City, Nebraska.
Carolyn Becker has worked on air, in sales and in management in all three states, including at the Yankton group. She says listeners won't see many changes.
