The James Carter Organ Trio, Robert Randolph and the Family Band and rocker Joe Walsh top Saturday night's lineup during the final day of the Sioux Falls JazzFest.
The annual free event at Yankton Trail Park has grown over the years into a top-tier three-day festival drawing numerous top acts and more than 100,000 music lovers from the region. It began in 1988 with two jazz bands and one blues act playing in a back yard.
Music on the main stage begins at noon with the Hegg Brothers Band, followed by trumpeter Rob Parton backed by students who spent the week at a jazz camp at Augustana College. The Brandon Sprague Blues Band and Kelly Hunt round out the afternoon lineup.
