Mitchell Baby Death Ruled Suspicious

June 22, 2012, 11:43 AM

Mitchell Baby Death Ruled Suspicious
MITCHELL, SD -

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says a death investigation involving an infant in Davison County is suspicious.

Authorities say the death happened at a home day care on Tuesday.

The police log says the home was on the 700 block of West Spruce. When KELOLAND News stopped by Thursday there was a note on the door saying there was no day care that day.

There is no word yet on the cause of death but authorities confirm an autopsy is complete, and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation along with the Davison County Sheriff's Office and Mitchell Police continue the investigation.

Hear what Attorney General Marty Jackley has to say about the case tonight on KELOLAND News.
