Crews Respond To Fire At Chancellor's Ethanol Plant

CHANCELLOR, SD -
Dozens of firefighters from three towns were called to the ethanol plant in Chancellor after a fire broke out. around 9:15 pm Monday night.
A spokesman from Poet says workers were in the process of working on a drier at the plant and some dust ignited starting what was described as a small fire.
Nathan Schock, public relations director for Poet, tells KELOLAND News there is no major damage or injuries and crews quickly had the fire under control.
