The parents of a Dell Rapids man held a poker run to raise money for a scholarship that'll be given in his honor. Wyatt Ammon was 24 years old when he died while working with the Peace Corps in Africa
Ammon's father says they chose to hold a poker run because Ammon would have loved to participate in it.
Greg Ammon says, Biking together was something we could do as a father-son and we both really enjoyed it, so it seems a fitting tribute to Wyatt to have this poker run.
Money raised from the poker run will be go towards the scholarship fund. One scholarship will be given to a Dell Rapids high school senior each year.
