SD High Court Hears Appeal In Marriage Case

South Dakota Supreme Court justices are weighing an appeal in a case in which a county prosecutor is accused of stealing the affection of another man's wife.
Douglas Rumpca sued Pennington County State's Attorney Glenn Brenner, saying Brenner lured his former wife Kellie Rumpca when the two were still married. A judge last year dismissed the case, saying there was no love left in the marriage when Kellie Rumpca became involved with Brenner. Kellie Rumpca and Brenner are now married.
Douglas Rumpca appealed to the Supreme Court, which heard arguments in the case this week. Rumpca's attorney wants the case to go to a jury trial.
