Huether Recommends Arena For Events Center

Huether Recommends Arena For Events Center
SIOUX FALLS, SD - Should a proposed Events Center be built near the current Arena or in downtown Sioux Falls?  Mayor Mike Huether says it should go by the Arena.

Huether cited information from reports put together by consultants when announcing his choice.

It was just last week when consultants presented details on where they found an Events Center would go best in Sioux Falls.  Those studies concluded building it near the arena in Sioux Falls would be best.  Based on the city's site evaluation criteria, the Arena ranks higher than Cherapa Place, which was chosen as a potential downtown location.
