You may not think about it, but there's a lot of information about you on the Internet. Scammers can do a lot with a name when they connect it to background information available on Facebook, Twitter and Google.

From who your friends and family are to what your house looks like, you may be leading a more public life than you thought. Now there's a lot of information people can find out about you without being your friend on Facebook.

We profiled two people to see what we could dig up and we'll have that story in Monday night's EYE on KELOLAND.

“You know a lot of people accept connections on LinkedIn and on Facebook before they really know who that person is. Once they've connected with you, now they can see the more intimate details about the activity that you're posting,” Dakota State University instructor Josh Stroschein said.

Now there's a lot of information people can find out about you without being your friend on Facebook. We profiled two people to see what we could dig up and we'll have that story tonight.
