The Yankton Children's Theatre Company is losing its home in the old Elks building.
The company has been informed that the building will be sold after May 1 and they must be out by that date.
President Jill Paulson says the old Elks building has been the troupe's home base for several years, so moving will be a challenge.
Company members are able to build their sets, prepare costumes and hold all of their initial rehearsals in the current location, but it's not a viable location for productions.
The troupe rotates shows between the Dakota Theatre, the Summit Center Theater and the Marian Auditorium, based on the needs of the production and availability.
