Work Begins On Section Of Russell Street

Traffic on the north side of Sioux Falls near the arena and convention center is seeing some road work.

Construction crews are running a sanitary sewer line across Russell Street from West Avenue to Western Avenue.

So, all westbound traffic is being detoured to the north Russell Street Frontage Road.

That work is expected to be finished by Friday.

Eastbound traffic won't be affected until next Sunday. That section of road will be closed and traffic will be detoured there through October 26.
