Woofstock Brings Hundreds To Spencer Park

October 14, 2012, 5:21 PM by David Brown

Woofstock Brings Hundreds To Spencer Park
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

It's not the summer of 1969, but the spirit of Woodstock was in full effect at Spencer Park in Sioux Falls for Woofstock.

Hundreds of dogs and their owners roamed around the park on Sunday.

There were different booths and games for both humans and animals. But the focus of the event was simply to get people out on a nice day.

“The main reason we do Woofstock is to give people an opportunity to bring their dogs out so they can socialize and people can see what our dog parks are all about, what we have to offer,” Woofstock organizer Jean Pearson said.

This was the 4th annual Woofstock event.
