A 20-year-old Parmelee woman has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter.
U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Kenna Young was driving under the influence of alcohol in Todd County on Feb. 15 when her vehicle left the roadway and crashed, killing one passenger and injuring a second.
Young pleaded guilty to the charge on Aug. 15. She was sentenced this week by U.S. District Judge Roberto Lange.
Young was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal.
