RAPID CITY, SD -
A Sturgis woman faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to health care fraud at the Fort Meade VA Medical Center in southwest South Dakota.
Twenty-three-year-old Sarah Halley Kusick was accused of taking 200 oxycodone pills over a two-month period while working as a nurse there.
Prosecutors said she falsely reported that the narcotic was intended for patients but kept it for her own use.
