The woman accused of running over South Dakota Highway Patrol Trooper Andrew Steen last October is expected in court on Tuesday.
Rachel Coleman is charged with several counts including attempted murder and aggravated assault against law enforcement.
Authorities say she led law enforcement on a drunk driving chase through Sioux Falls October 17. During the chase, authorities say she ran over Trooper Steen, sending him to the hospital with severe head injuries. Trooper Steen was released from the hospital in mid-December.
If convicted, Coleman could spend the rest of her life in prison.
