The Lyon County sheriff's office says it has arrested the driver of a van that struck a school bus in rural Minnesota, killing four students.
The sheriff's office says 23-year-old Alianiss N. Morales of Minneota has been taken to the Lyon County jail on suspicion of criminal vehicular operation.
County Attorney Rick Maes tells the Marshall Independent that charges could come later today or tomorrow.
Two brothers, the daughter of a teacher and the son of a former teacher were killed in the crash on Tuesday. At least 14 other people were hurt. Many remain hospitalized.
Law enforcement officials say the van struck the bus, which then rolled over onto a pickup truck. The National Transportation Safety Board is joining the Minnesota State Patrol in the investigation.
