Woman Arrested For Colorado Hash

July 18, 2014, 11:21 AM by Anna Peters

Woman Arrested For Colorado Hash
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Police say a Sioux Falls woman bought hash in Colorado to sell in South Dakota.

Thursday night, an officer saw a driver run a red light at 8th Street and Minnesota Avenue.  When he stopped the truck, police say the driver and passenger seemed nervous.  Police brought in a K-9 dog, which led them to eight plastic vials filled with different kinds of hash.  The passenger admitted she buys the drug in Colorado.  The search also turned up two pairs of brass knuckles and another container with drug residue.

Police arrested 22-year-old Shelby Griffith for possessing drugs with the intent to distribute.

Both she and the driver, 26-year-old Chase Lynd, are charged with having concealed weapons.
