A Wisconsin woman has died after crashing her motorcycle west of Rapid City earlier this month.
Sherri Wasielewski was from Hayward, Wisconsin. The 51-year-old Wasielewski was driving east on Nemo Road on Aug. 17 when she swiped a guard rail.
She was thrown from her motorcycle. She was not wearing a helmet.
Wasielewski was transported to a Rapid City hospital where she died this week.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the accident with help of the Pennington County Sheriff's Office.
