PIERRE, SD -
South Dakota Lottery officials say a winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000 in Wednesday night's drawing was sold in Watertown.
The ticket matched the five white balls but not the red Powerball number. South Dakota Lottery Director Norm Lingle says the winner has 180 days to claim the $200,000 prize.
The winning Powerball numbers for the Wednesday drawing are: 24, 26, 45, 48, and 55; the Powerball is 8 and the Power Play multiplier is 2.
Powerball is played in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the $200,000 prize are 1 in 5.1 million.
