Wind Storm A Lot Like 2010

Strong winds have arrived in KELOLAND and won't be leaving anytime soon. 

Some spots will have gusts up to 60 miles per hour or more.  It looks very similar to a wind storm we had just two years ago.

That storm produced winds over 60 miles per hour in many locations.  Pierre tops this list with 67 miles per hour and Sioux Falls saw gusts of 58 miles per hour.

The storm in 2010 set the record for lowest pressure ever recorded in Minnesota.  It happened in Big Fork when the pressure fell to 955.2 millibars. The previous record was 962.7 millibars.

Forecast models are showing this storm is looking much like the one two years ago.  With numerous wind warnings in place, be prepared for strong winds through Thursday.

The only question is if we can top the wind speeds from two years ago.
