On Wednesday, Elijah White Magpie was arrested by Pennington County Deputies and charged with one count of attempted first degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, one count of intentional damage to public property and one count of intentional damage to private property.
White Magpie was transported and is being held without bond at the Pennington County Jail. The charges stem from an incident on February 21, 2013 involving two Rapid City Police Officers.
Both, attempted first degree murder and aggravated assault on a police officer, are Class 2 felonies, punishable up to 25 years in the state penitentiary.
