You certainly don't need to be a meteorologist to figure out that it has been a cool, wet spring. Temperatures have really struggled to consistently warm up. You also may have noticed a surprising trend.
Going back 10 weeks, we've had only one weekend where it didn't rain or snow in Sioux Falls. As far as rain totals, we have had about a quarter of all of our moisture over the past 10 weeks falling on either Saturday or Sunday.
As we now enter into another weekend, more wet, cool weather is expected. Temperatures will be 20 degrees below normal, with clouds and a few scattered showers. If you have outdoor plans, you may want to wait until Sunday or even Monday.
