West Central Student Receives National Scholarship

EDGEFIELD, SC -

Elizabeth Renner of Crooks was presented with a $10,000 National Scholarship by the National Wild Turkey Federation. She was chosen from hundreds of entrants nationwide.

Renner is a senior at West Central High School in Hartford with a 4.0 GPA. She plans to major in Wildlife Management at Augustana College.

In addition to the national scholarship, Renner also received a $250 scholarship from the NWTF Central Valley Struttin’ Gobblers Chapter and a $1,000 scholarship from the NWTF South Dakota State Chapter.

Renner and her family will also receive a trip to the 2014 NWTF National Convention and Sports Show at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN, where she will be recognized for her achievements.
