Weekend Rain Causes Flooding In KELOLAND

From areas of northwest Iowa to southwest Minnesota, heavy rains have caused major flooding and relief isn't in sight yet with more storms in the works for Monday.

The storms dumped as much as four inches of rain at Luverne.  Gov. Mark Dayton planned to travel to Luverne and Edgerton Monday afternoon, weather permitting.

Officials closed all four lanes of Interstate 90 from Luverne to the South Dakota border for several hours Sunday after nearly four feet of water covered the road.

A flash flood also washed out a dam spillway at Blue Mounds State Park north of Luverne.  View photos of the damage there below.
