Are you arming your college student with a credit card as they head to campus?
Students 18-21 often need parents to cosign for a credit card, but it can be a good way to build a credit history when used wisely.
CardHub.com has put out a list of the "Best Credit Cards for College Students in 2013." The website looked a thousand different cards.
In the rewards category, the site recommends the Journey Student Rewards from Capital One, the Bank Americard Cash Rewards for Students and the Wells Fargo Cash Back College Student Credit Card.
For students who make large purchases, CardHub.com says BankAmericard for Students is the best because it does not charge interest on this card for the first 15 months, and there is no annual fee either.
When it comes to secured credit cards, the website recommends Harley-Davidson Secured Credit Card because it has no annual fee and the LifeMiles Visa Secured Card.
