Most years the end of October means harvest is almost over for farmers but this year isn't the same story.
The wet and cool weather has slowed down the fall harvest in KELOLAND. Farmers are seeing a direct impact from the below normal temperature in the corn harvest with high moisture levels in the grain. The warm weather this weekend offers some farmers a chance to get out in the field.
However, a forecasted cool down this week could continue to slow down the harvest for many farmers with grain still standing.
