The ice is also to blame for a crash on Interstate 29 near Worthing. Traffic was backed up for at least a mile after a crash happened involving a boom truck and five cars.
Lincoln County Emergency Manager Harold Timmerman says the vehicles hit an icy spot on a bridge before crashing into each other. That forced traffic down to one lane.
No one was seriously injured.
Drivers are still asked to use caution as there may still be a few slippery spots.
