THIS IS A COPY OF AN EMAIL I SEND OUT TO JAY, BRIAN, AND BEN. JUST SOME THOUGHTS ON WHAT THE FORECAST MODELS ARE DOING. IT MAY OR MAY NOT REFLECT THE FINAL FORECAST. BE SURE TO VISIT OUR WEATHER PAGE FOR UPDATES. –SCOT MUNDT
Not too exciting for the coming work week. Temps will remain below average in the central and east through Friday with a better chance to get closer to average in the west.
Average highs for today:
Sioux Falls: 35°
Aberdeen: 31°
Pierre: 38°
Rapid City: 41°
Temps will warm closer to average this weekend with Sunday being the warmest day.
There seems to be a clipper on the EURO and CAN for early next week. GFS is not overly excited about it, but I have 20-30 pops in for Monday.
The sustained ridge on the GFS for the beginning of March is not there anymore. It now looks below average for temps!
