THIS IS A COPY OF AN EMAIL I SEND OUT TO JAY, BRIAN, AND BEN. JUST SOME THOUGHTS ON WHAT THE FORECAST MODELS ARE DOING. IT MAY OR MAY NOT REFLECT THE FINAL FORECAST. BE SURE TO VISIT OUR WEATHER PAGE FOR UPDATES. –SCOT MUNDT
Cold tomorrow, but slowly warming through the weekend. Highs on the EURO have cooled for Sunday. As of now the EURO is spitting out 39° for Sioux Falls, 27° for Aberdeen, 41° in Pierre, and 50° in Rapid City. After Sunday the temps cool to below average for next week.
Along with the cooler air, there’s a storm system that will have to be watched for Wednesday and Thursday. Both models are pointing their highest QPF numbers in southeast KELOLAND with the GFS more than the EURO.
The QPF table is for Wednesday/Thursday…
