Watertown Man Arrested For Madison Murder

MADISON, SD -
A 73-year-old man has been arrested Wednesday evening in connection with a murder in Madison.
Carl V. Ericsson of Watertown was arrested for shooting 72-year-old Norman Johnson around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in his own home.
Law enforcement believes this was an isolated incident.
Johnson was a Madison High School English teacher and track coach. His memorial service is set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.
