Warmer Temps Might Draw In More Customers At Stores

Warmer Temps Might Draw In More Customers At Stores

"It's like a heat wave actually, Alex and Winne said.

Just a few days after we experienced the polar vortex, Mother Nature is cutting us a break.  And this type of weather makes it easier for people wanting to get out and about.

"We are just out doing errands because I had to work the past few days, which was a blessing so we're actually getting out and we thought we'd stop by the great outdoors,” Alex said.

Despite the cold temperatures, the Great Outdoors Store owner said they were still fairly busy last week.

"We can absolutely accommodate any weather type situation so it hasn't really affected our traffic very much at all which is nice. I expect that to continue because we are starting the sale season so that brings a lot people out so I see that continuing," Store owner, DeAnn Echols said.

Man Code located on Phillips Ave saw a lot of traffic over the shopping season. Store owner Gabrielle Spangler had time to restock her inventory after the hustle and bustle and she's predicting more people will come out and shop this weekend.

"I just think that business is going to get back to usual once it gets to 30 degrees. I think people will be out shopping and finally it will feel nice to finally get outside again,” Spangler said.
