Voters Cast Absentee Ballots

April 5, 2014, 5:50 PM by Leland Steva

Voters Cast Absentee Ballots

Voting for the City of Sioux Falls Municipal and School Board got underway with people casting their absentee ballots today.

Voting was open today at the Minnehaha County Auditor's Office from 8 a.m. until noon. Absentee voting, in person, will end at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The general election will start at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. You can vote at any of the 13 different voting centers in the city.

Besides the mayor and city council, Sioux Falls voters will decide whether to build a new outdoor pool at Spellerberg Park.

Also, the fate of a new Walmart at 85th and Minnesota will be in the voter's hands.

So will the future of citywide snow gates.

And we have everything voters need to know before casting a ballot on our election page.
