A tiny southeast South Dakota town turned into the state's second largest city over the weekend.
At times, Worthing's population multiplied by more than 100 during the nation's largest free Christian music festival.
The concerts may be over, but that doesn't mean work is finished.
The crowds were as big as they've ever been at LifeLight, with an estimated 300,000 people enjoying the free music festival.
But as the dust settles Monday, it's up to volunteers to clean up what the crowds left behind. Myles Gosmire didn't attend a single concert, but he's spending his Labor Day picking up trash in a makeshift parking lot.
"It's a pretty large space so the more the merrier," Gosmire said. "It's fun."
More than 150 volunteers tear down what LifeLight Founder Alan Greene calls a temporary city in rural Worthing.
"It was just hours ago that the concert ended and today [Monday] is clean-up day," Greene said. "I am always amazed at our volunteers. We have people showing up from everywhere."
Greene says it will take a week straight to dismantle the temporary structures. Once that's done, work will continue on the property to prepare for next year's event.
And while all the trash may seem like a lot, Greene says it's not compared to the number of people who attended LifeLight.
"The crowd leaves, the people who come to the concerts pick up as they go," Greene said. "But there are folks out here picking up the extra garbage."
And Gosmire is happy to do his part so the Christian music festival keeps coming back, year after year.
"It's fun to get the kids out here and do something positive like this," Gosmire said. "It feels good."
