A grant for more than $1 million is helping homeless veterans in Sioux Falls.
Veterans of America introduced the new "Transition in Place" project Thursday morning at the Berakhah House. It will provide housing for 25 homeless vets a day.
Officials say it's the first of its kind in the Sioux Falls area.
"We've served over 100 veterans through this house so far and our statistics are showing that our success rate is probably about 80 percent," Chris Nelson with Veterans of America said.
Hear from a veteran about the services tonight on KELOLAND News.
