Sioux Falls police are investigating dozens of broken car windows over the weekend.
The vandalism spree targeted the southeast part of the city where police say someone used a BB gun to shoot out at least 24 car windows late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Will Adams un-straps the tarp on his brother's pickup to show us the broken window on the driver's side.
"When I came home from working at John Morrell that night, my brother told me his window got busted out. That some kids in a truck came by and shot it up," Adams said.
Adams says it happened around 10 o'clock Friday night.
Don Jorgensen: Did your brother actually see the kids?
Adams: He saw the truck. I don't know if he saw the kids. It was dark that night. He called police and police came and asked him questions and stuff.
Adams' pickup is just one of many vandalism reports that came in over the weekend. From South Highland to Plum Creek Road to East 52nd Street, chards of broken glass litter the streets.
Adams says his brother isn't happy.
"He told me he was pretty mad at the situation and what happened. It's an expense he doesn't need right now; it's another thing we don't need," Adams said.
As police continue to look for the vandals who officers believe randomly shot out window after window, people like Adams have been busy cleaning up broken glass inside and outside of their vehicles.
Police are looking for three suspects between the ages of 16 to 20 years old who were driving a white, four-door F-150 pickup. If you have any information, you're asked to call police.
