Valentine's Day Baby

February 14, 2014, 8:56 PM

Valentine's Day Baby
DUPREE, SD -

Gunner Timmy Frederick was born at 4:00 a.m.

Father, Patrick Frederick, says that his wife, Ashley, woke him up at 1:30 a.m. saying she had heartburn. Patrick was woken up again at 3:24 a.m. and was told by Ashley that it was time.

The pair left with their four other children in Dupree at around 3:49 a.m. They headed toward Eagle Butte which had just received three to five inches of snow, so driving slow and being cautious were needed.

As they reached Junction 65, Ashley told Patrick that her water broke and it was time. Patrick immediately pulled the car over and ran to the passenger side just in time to help welcome his new born baby boy into the world.
