A student collection of work including photography, painting and ceramics is on display at the University of South Dakota.
"Collection, Compressed" features work from USD students Makayla Stubbs, Kaia Nowatzki, Chelsea Kathol and Caleb Johns. It is on display at the Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts through Friday.
Kathol, from Yankton, has an emphasis in painting and works primarily with acrylic mixed media. Nowatzki, from Luverne, Minn., has an emphasis in ceramics with salt and wood being her primary methods of firing.
Stubbs, from Underwood, Iowa, has an emphasis in photography. Johns, from Vermillion, has an emphasis in ceramics with an interest in wood firing.
