With just over a week before the June 8 primary, Blake Curd of Sioux Falls has out raised his opponents in the GOP U.S. House race by more than $200,000
According to filings with the Federal Election Commission, surgeon and state legislator Blake Curd has a total of $474,680 in campaign contributions. Nearly $122,000 of that has come from his own pocket.
State legislator and businesswoman Kristi Noem of Castlewood has collected more than $243,559.
And Secretary of State Chris Nelson is reporting $156,361in total contributions.
On the Democratic side, Congresswoman Stephanie Herseth Sandlin, who is running unopposed in the June primary, has collected nearly $820,000.
