'Up With People' Visit Chilly Falls Park

March 3, 2014, 3:57 PM by Andy Graning

'Up With People' Visit Chilly Falls Park
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Some special international visitors braved Monday's cold to take in Falls Park.

Members of the group "Up with People" shot a picture at the city's namesake Monday afternoon.

More than 100 performers from 20 different countries are spending four weeks in Sioux Falls practicing for Sunday's Gift of Hope concert.

The cold weather isn't the only thing making an impression on the troupe.

"I feel like people in Sioux Falls, the weather is really cold here, but people here are really warm. They are genuinely friendly people," Wenfei Wand, an Up with People visitor from China, said.

Sunday's concert is a benefit for Catholic Family Services.  Click here for ticket information.
