SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Two university presidents say what is good for Sioux Falls could be good for the rest of the state.
At a news conference today, SDSU President David Chicoine and USD President Jim Abbott agreed an events center is an opportunity for their students.
Both men believe the Brookings and Vermillion communities will also feel economic impact.
Both Chicoine and Abbott say they are not ready say whether they're willing to commit their athletic teams to an events center, but Chicoine cited the 2009 Summit League basketball games held in Sioux Falls.
He says building a new center would be good incentive for future Summit League games, including the 2015 tournament.
