Two SF Gas Stations Temporarily Closed

November 16, 2012, 3:19 PM by Angela Kennecke

A couple of Sioux Falls gas stations have suddenly shut down with no explanation.

Mr. Nifty, known for having the cheapest gas in town, on East 10th Street and Gas Plus on West 12th Street are both closed.

The numbers to the businesses are not working and there are plastic bags over the pumps.

KELOLAND News was unable to reach the owner of both stations, Karl Frei, but a sign on the door of Mr. Nifty says it's closed temporarily.

The state department of Environment and Natural Resources says it has not taken any action against the stations
