REVILLO, SD -
Blowing snow and icy roads played a role in a crash Tuesday afternoon on Highway 212, 10 miles southwest of Revillo.
The Highway Patrol says the driver of a Pontiac Bonneville, 20-year-old Daniel Christensen of New Holland, was over driving the conditions when he lost control of the car after it hit ice. The car then slid into the path of a Toyota Camry.
Christensen and a passenger, 21-year-old Tyler Croothuis of Montevideo, Minnesota, both have serious but non-life threatening injuries. The two people in the Camry only have minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol says charges are pending against Christensen.
