Authorities say two Rapid City men accidentally shot themselves with their pistols in separate incidents last weekend.
Police say a 42-year-old man shot himself in the hand while working on a pistol late Friday evening. The victim sought medical treatment on his own.
The second incident happened early Monday morning. A man in a car was reportedly attempting to put his handgun into his holster when he shot himself in the foot.
Police say other people were in the car but were not injured. The victim was taken by his friends to a local hospital.
No citations were issued in either shooting.
