The Rapid City Police Department says employees of Big D and Boyd's Liquor sold alcohol to an underage police informant Wednesday.
Police say two employees were issued a citation for furnishing alcohol to a minor. The charge is a class 2 misdemeanor that carries up to 30 days in prison and a $500 fine.
Police say five establishments in Rapid City this year have failed alcohol compliance checks for selling to underage informants.
