KELOLAND Target Stores Now Open Extended Hours

August 19, 2014, 12:16 PM by Andy Graning

KELOLAND Target Stores Now Open Extended Hours

Night owls who enjoy shopping at Target will soon have an extra hour to browse the shelves.

The store located in east Sioux Falls is now open extended hours on the weekend. The discount retailer is keeping about half of its U.S. stores open until 11 p.m. or midnight most nights to better compete with Walmart. The Target in Sioux Falls is now open until 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 p.m. on Sundays.

The longer hours are expected to continue through at least the holiday season.

This article has been revised to reflect the following correction:
Corrected that the store extended hours on weekends only.
