Two Critically Injured In Car-Motorcycle Crash
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Two people on a motorcycle were critically injured in a crash with a car early Sunday morning in Sioux Falls.

The motorcycle collided with the car in the intersection of 10th & Lowell just before 2 a.m. The motorcycle driver, 24-year-old Quintin McMartin and passenger, 21-year-old Michelle Tarian, both of Sioux Falls, were thrown from the bike. Neither was wearing a helmet.  Witnesses told police the motorcycle may have been speeding.

McMartin is being treated for life-threatening injuries. Tarian is in critical but stable condition with head and leg injuries.

Police arrested the driver of the car, 55-year-old Cynthia Goeman of Sioux Falls, for DUI and two counts of vehicular battery.

Goeman was treated and released from the hospital.
