Two Arrested In Spirit Lake On Drug Charges
SPIRIT LAKE, IA -

Two Spirit Lake residents were arrested after a search warrant on Saturday, May 31.

Spirit Lake Police recovered plant material suspected to be marijuana and prescription medication from 2408 25th Street Lot 73. Approximately 22 methamphetamine and marijuana pipes were confiscated, along with snort tubes, a marijuana grinder, a scale, syringes and torches. 47-year-old Robert Carlson and 51-year-old Denise Johnson were arrested and booked into Dickinson County Jail.

Carlson is charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance (aggravated misdemeanor), posession of prescription drugs (serious misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Johnson is charged with possession of a controlled substance first offense (serious misdemeanor), possession of prescription drugs (serious misdemeanor), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
