Two Arrested In Connection With Casino Robbery

Two Arrested In Connection With Casino Robbery
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Surveillance footage and a witness led police to arrest two men in connection with a Sioux Falls casino robbery.

29-year-old Philip Scott Lewis and 48-year-old Richard Dukes were arrested after authorities connected both to a robbery at Crown Two Casino early Sunday morning.

Sioux Falls Police reports that Dukes entered the West 12th Street casino and asked to cash a check. When the clerk refused, Lewis allegedly entered the business with a gun and towel over his face and demanded cash.

A customer saw the pair leave in a red car. Security camera video helped authorities identify the car as a Cadillac. Police caught Dukes and the car on Monday and Lewis was arrested Wednesday.
