Two Arrested For Mobile Meth Lab
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Two people were arrested for manufacturing meth on Friday.

Just before 6:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a car fire on E. 6th Street and N. Sycamore. The vehicle and its occupants were eventually found on the 3700 block of E. 3rd Street. The driver, 29-year-old JayJay Stanton Coronado and the passenger, 38-year-old Kristy Jeanne Wilker had burns on their bodies.

The vehicle struck a light pole and kept going through the neighborhood until they stopped on E. 3rd Street.

Upon investigation it was found that Coronado was making meth, using a one-pot method while driving. Around the area of 6th Street and La Salle, the one-pot ruptured causing the fire.

Coronado and Wilker were taken to Avera McKennan for treatment and Coronado was transported later to a Minnesota burn unit.

Both occupants were charged with manufacturing a controlled substance along with other charges.
