The Turner County Sheriff's Office has been awarded $15,000 to purchase a new vehicle to be used in drug investigations.
Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that the money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund. The award will assist local law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.
Jackley says the Drug Control Fund allows law enforcement across the state to request funds to offset expenses that arise from drug control efforts.
